Islam30 (referred to as "the App", "we", "us", or "our") is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle the information used within our mobile application.

We do not require any registration, and we do not collect, store, or share any personal identification information (such as your name, email address, phone number, or contacts). Any data used by the App is for functional purposes only and is processed as follows:


A. Location Information

The App requires access to your device's location (GPS and Network) to:


Calculate accurate prayer timings based on your specific coordinates.

Determine the correct Qibla direction.

Provide local sunrise and sunset times for Sehri and Iftar. Data Handling: Location data is processed locally on your device in real-time. It is NOT uploaded to any server or shared with third parties.

B. Storage & Downloads (PDFs)

The App allows you to download and read Islamic books and articles in PDF format.


Storage Access: The App uses an app-specific directory on your device's internal storage to save these downloaded PDF files.

Purpose: This is strictly for providing Offline Reading functionality so you can access your books without an internet connection.

Privacy: We do NOT access your personal photos, videos, or other private files on your device.

C. Notification Policy (Do Not Disturb)

To provide the "Auto Silent Mode" feature, the App requests access to your device's Notification Policy (ACCESS_NOTIFICATION_POLICY).


Purpose: This is used solely to automatically switch your phone to silent/vibrate during prayer times and restore it afterward.

D. Internet and Network State

The App uses the Internet permission for:


Downloading books, articles, and Quranic audio streams.

Fetching location-based altitude data for timing accuracy.

Checking for App updates via Google Play Store services.

E. Alarms and Device Boot

The App uses SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM and RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED permissions to ensure that prayer alerts and silent mode schedules remain active and accurate, even after a device restart.


2. Third-Party Services

The App may use third-party services that may collect information used to identify you:


Google Play Services: Used for location accuracy and app-in-app updates.

External Links: The App contains links to external platforms like YouTube and WhatsApp. Please note that these external sites have their own privacy policies.

3. Data Retention and Security

Since we do not collect personal data on our servers, we do not store your data. All settings and downloaded files remain on your device and are deleted if you uninstall the App.


4. Children’s Privacy

Our App is safe for all ages and does not knowingly collect any personal data from children.


5. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We encourage users to check this page periodically for any changes.
